The Lifestyle Card 2.4 Platform Update

The Lifestyle Card is pleased to announce the launch of a new update to its platform Version 2.4. This update contains a new exciting feature for businesses wanting to offer B2B discounts along with useability and styling improvements.

What’s New?

Business To Business Section (B2B)

Our Business To Business (B2B) section has been created to easily identify business to business offers. Although our main target audience is our 7000 strong general consumer membership, we offer this bolt on to enhance our services. It offers opportunities for our listing businesses to develop professional contacts and promotes the support of local business. You can find this new section within the main navigation bar of our site. If you don’t currently offer a B2B and you wish to be included on this page please email and let us know your B2B offer.

New Listing Report Issue Button

We have now introduced a “Report An Issue With This Listing” button which displays on all businesses listing with us. This will allow users to report listings directly to us for processing if they spot an issue or the business is not accepting discounts advertised. We hope this new feature will increase the accuracy of our listings as our discounting businesses increase.

New Category Sort By Filters

Within all of our Categories, Sub Categories and Collections you will now see some new display filters. These allow you to sort displayed listings by Newest First, Oldest First or Random! Additionally, we have also added a way to switch the design from a grid layout (3 columns) to a list layout.

Listing Page Design Improvements

We have carried out a small makeover on each businesses listing page to ensure important information is better displayed. Wording, fonts and colours have also been adjusted to display things clearer for users. We have also made lots of adjustments to the mobile display of listings to ensure they are perfectly displayed for those looking on the go.

Accessibility Improvements

One of our goals from day one of starting was to create an equal platform for all users to enjoy. In this update, we have been working behind the scenes to improve screen reader support for users that are visually impaired along with adding support for third-party browser software that increases font size for users who are hard of sight.

All of these features and more are now live on our website and ready for use. We hope you like them as much as we do and we look forward to hearing your thoughts, feedback and future ideas.
