Are you worried about your child missing out on their learning? Do you want to narrow the gap before school starts again? Kate is currently able to offer online tutoring until social distancing has been relaxed for years 1-6, focusing on Maths and/or English.
She has been teaching in Hampshire Primary schools for over 10 years and has experience in both teaching and tutoring children in KS1 and KS2.
She has a passion for life long learning and believe it is imperative children understand what they are learning, rather than just doing it. Learning should be dynamic, fun and explained in a way children can access in order to achieve their potential.
Kate has tutored children in both English and Maths in preparation for KS1 and KS2 SATs and transition into secondary school. She also tutors children to help narrow the gap before the next academic year or give them a head start so they start their new year with more confidence.
Her teaching style ensures learning is fun and practical to allow the children to retain what they have been taught. She has 3 small children under 6 and value the importance of learning but also in a fun way. Laughter is the sound of learning.
