AN ENTREPRENEUR vying to help Andover thrive has celebrated a milestone.
Sean Caruana created The Lifestyle Card with many businesses in the town and the surrounding area jumping on board to offer discounts and incentives and the scheme has now reached 100 associates.
Barker Son & Isherwood has signed up as the 100th business to be involved with its 30 members of staff being rewarded with a card each.
And in just four months Mr Caruana has already created his first bundle, coined ‘Moving Home’, with a number of businesses including Barker Son & Isherwood getting involved.
“It seems fitting that Barker Son & Isherwood are the 100th associate, not only have they got an excellent reputation for the work carried out with local people but also for their work with local charities and the community.”
And more businesses are signing up to offer discounts including The Lights Arena Café, Lainston House and Fireplace Warehouse.
“It’s early days but The Lifestyle Card really seems to have struck the right chord with the town and since the cards went live on September 1 over half a dozen local businesses have purchased the card for their employees.
“It’s a great way to boost morale and make employees feel valued and appreciated whilst benefiting the companies profile by building goodwill and improving retention. Ultimately it’s helping their employees money go further whilst supporting other local businesses.”
